My name is Jill Taylor, I am the Care Manager for The Local Care Company, Bolton. I have worked in the Care sector for the past seven years, starting as a Support Worker for adults with severe learning difficulties, progressing to a Risk Assessment Officer, Deputy Manager and then Care Manager. Prior to my work in the Care Sector, I was a Registered Childminder and the Secretary for Bolton Cot Death Support Group. I also ran a drama group for adults with learning difficulties at my local church and managed a children's play centre.
I joined TLC in June 2005 in order to further my career in Care. I gained NVQ 3 and 4 (Registered Manager). Since joining TLC, I have been delighted to be part of the steady growth of the Company. I work within a team of professional people who share my dedication to making a difference to the lives of vulnerable adults, and the rewards this gives me makes it a pleasue to come to work!
